Stephen C. Flaherty
Executive Director

Stephen C. Flaherty is currently the Managing Director of FRS LLC, a boutique consulting firm specializing in hands-on situational support for small and medium sized businesses taking companies beyond the "founder mentality" and into the expansion of current and penetration of new markets. Mr. Flaherty joined the management staff of uptimeLV to enhance our aggressive growth plans of the company. Since Steve's joining of our team, uptimeLV has experienced significant advancements in our operating processes and profits. Steve has also taken a "hands on" role in assisting us with the development of leading edge solutions personalized for our client base. Prior to Steve joining us as a valued member of our uptimeLV leadership team, Steve was the President / CEO of a Florida based advertising company and Q Comm International Inc. As President of Q Comm, Steve restructured and repositioned the company leading new product development and authoring 7 patents. This development enabled Q Comm to become a key national and international player in the transaction services market.

Prior to Steve's establishment of FRS LLC, Steve's past successes included C-level marketing and sales positions at small and large corporations, and business or division start-ups. Steve began his career at Bell and Howell, where he was promoted seven times within 14 years. In his last position with Bell and Howell, he was called upon to launch a new division as the Director of Sales and Marketing which generated over $16MM in revenue in its first year of operation. Having established a track record of building successful sales teams, Steve was recruited by GE Capital to become the VP of Sales and Marketing for Dealer Systems. In this position, Steve had the opportunity to work with the GE culture, where he developed an expertise in applying the strategies and techniques for building shareholder value.

This insight, success record, and natural enthusiasm made him an attractive acquisition for companies in need of reengineering. From 1991 to today, Mr. Flaherty serving as the CEO and President has helped reengineer various small to medium-sized businesses in many markets across the U.S.

Steve has taken that practical, "been there, done it" expertise and knowledge and written a powerful book on demystifying the process of growth for new, small and medium sized businesses, entitled "The power is in the Question." In this book, Steve very eloquently uses questions with examples to lead the reader through an investigative process for their own business re-engineering. Steve's passion is around helping businesses formulate their next "Blue Ocean*" while capitalizing on their current success.
