Get to Know Casey Carricaburu

As the Executive Assistant to the CEO and the first point of contact for our clients, Casey is an important part of the uptimeLV team. Last month, Casey celebrated her third year of employment with us, and given this recent anniversary, we felt it was perfect timing for our clients to get to know the person behind the voice on the phone.
Where are you originally from and what brought you to Las Vegas?
"I tell everyone I'm from all over. I was adopted from El Salvador when I was just 3 years old and since then, I've moved from state to state. I came to Las Vegas in 1999 to pursue a job opportunity in property management. Prior to working at uptime, I managed several properties throughout Las Vegas."
You're the Executive Assistant to the CEO. Tell us more about what you do.
"In my position, I work with the entire staff on a daily basis. In addition to working with Shelly, I manage the technicians and work with the clients to schedule service and maintenance appointments. I also handle customer relations and marketing."
What do you enjoy most about your job?
"Each day brings something new and there is never a dull moment working for uptime. Things often change from minute to minute, which is a challenge I enjoy and one I'm happy to take on. The people that work for uptime make it especially fun. Even when we're dealing with minor emergencies from customers, the entire team stays positive and focused."
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
"I'm a single mother of four, I love to cook and I'm a movie addict! In my spare time, I'm always watching movies with my children and playing video games on the Wii. It's one of the best investments I've ever made for family time!"
What's one thing you'd like uptimeLV clients to know about you?
"My main purpose at uptime is being an advocate for our customers. If at any time you're not happy, it's my job and my pleasure to help and I will do my best to correct the situation. I take pride in what I do here and I really enjoy my job."
